Isophya
Rezultate
Proiectul propus implică metodologie complexa, multidisciplinara, incluzand bioacustica, biologie moleculara si modelarea nisei ecologice. Grupul studiat cuprinde insecte cu dispersie limitata la Bazinul Carpatic, majoritatea speciilor fiind descrise in ultimii ani. Studiile de bioacustica vor revela aspecte mai putin cunoscute ale etologiei la speciile din genul Isophya, iar aceste cunostiinte de acustica, cumulate, vor putea testa determinarea corecta a cosasilor si pot duce la identificarea de specii criptic morfologice, noi pentru stiinta. Pe parcursul expeditiilor vor fi descoperite noi populatii ale speciilor-tintă, crescand valoarea cunostintelor taxonomice, etologice si genetice. Acest proiect este inovativ pentru studiile de bioacustica, biologie moleculara si distributie a speciilor acestui grup. Ansamblul de date obtinute va avea contributii majore la dezvoltarea ipotezelor asupra relatiilor filogenetice si filogeografice, precum si istoriei evolutive a grupului de specii Isophya camptoxypha.
Componenta echipei a fost stabilita prin prisma colaborarilor precedente, care au dus la rezultate excelente stiintifice. Consideram acest proiect o oportunitate adecvata pentru dezvoltarea si consolidarea abilitatilor si cunostintelor in activitatea stiintifica a echipei, ceea ce va duce la publicarea de articole de calitate in jurnale indexate SCI/ISI si participarea la manifestari stiintifice nationale si internationale.
